Children with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and their caregivers, face many issues that can have serious and long-term effects on their physical, emotional and financial quality of life.
Robbie’s Rainbow works hard to help children with IBD live healthy lives by providing treatment assistance and developing valuable education materials. As well, we represent the interests of caregivers and children living with IBD to government, business, and the public.
Easing the burdens of access and cost
Children with IBD can experience heavy medical and financial burdens. To ease these burdens, to ensure an optimal quality of life and to possibly prevent or delay costly and devastating complications, children with IBD deserve equal and affordable access to the best possible medications, supplies and care, regardless of where they live in Canada.
